Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the LeaveOS leave-management platform at https://leaveos.com and related services ("Service") provided by LeaveOS ("LeaveOS", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

LeaveOS is a cloud-based software service that helps organizations manage employee leave, approvals, team visibility, and related HR workflows. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be authorized by your employer to use a workspace on the Service.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and comply with your organization's policies.
  • You must be at least the minimum age required to work in your jurisdiction.

3. Customer organizations

If your employer subscribes to LeaveOS, your organization is the "Customer" and controls workspace settings, user access, and much of the HR data processed in the Service. Your use may also be subject to your employer's internal policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully or in violation of these Terms;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or other accounts;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware;
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Service except as permitted by law;
  • Upload content that infringes third-party rights or contains harmful material.

5. Subscription and fees

Paid plans, billing, and trials are agreed between LeaveOS and the Customer organization. Individual end users are generally not billed directly unless stated otherwise at signup.

6. Intellectual property

LeaveOS owns the Service, software, branding, and documentation. Customers and users retain ownership of their data. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for internal business purposes while your access is active.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Statement. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read it.

8. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third-party sign-in providers (e.g. Microsoft, Google, Slack) and other tools. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Availability and support

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or events beyond our control may cause temporary downtime. Support channels and response times depend on your organization's plan.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEAVEOS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD, OR ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100) IF NO FEES WERE PAID, WHICHEVER IS GREATER, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

12. Termination

Customers may terminate subscriptions according to their agreement. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, security risks, or legal requirements. Upon termination, access to the Service ends, subject to applicable data retention in our Privacy Statement.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania, unless otherwise required by law.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will post updates on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
